Gaucho E-Bill

Beginning August 2006, UCSB will no longer be sending printed billing statements via U.S. postal service. Instead, an E-Bill notice will be sent to your UCSB-issued UMAIL address notifying you that your billing statement is ready to be viewed and paid. The notice will include a link to a secure site where you can view and pay your statement on-line.

Benefits of E-Bill

  • Notice of E-Bill is received up to a week earlier than if statements are sent by U.S. Postal Service.

  • The E-Bill notice can be sent to more than one recipient (e.g., parent, agency, relative).

  • Reduction in the consumption of paper and other natural resources.

How E-Bill Works

UCSB sends an E-Bill Notice to your official U-Mail account when your billing statement is ready. You can also sign up to have this same E-Bill notice sent to other email addresses at the same time. The E-Bill notice will include a link to a secure site. By following that link you will be able to log on to view your bill on-line. From this site you can also print the bill if you wish. You can also pay on-line from the bill using our convenient E-Check system.

Can My Parent Also Receive E-Bill Notification and Access my Billing Statement?

Yes. We recommend that you authorize your Parent and other additional users as soon as possible. Once authorization is complete, your Parent or other additional users will receive the same notification that you do and will be enabled to view and pay your BARC Billing Statement.
